Vandaag mijn tekstbijdrage geleverd aan Peter Groenewold voor het fotoboek over de markt(en) in Groningen, (uitgeverij Passage), met prachtige foto’s van Rein Scholte.
Het boek ligt juni 2018 in de schappen en er gaat een fototentoonstelling in galerie Noorderlicht aan vooraf.

On the internet, you can read a lot about the online 'Filter bubble'. There are a lot of different opinions about it, but also a lot of comments. But is this something new? No, offline we have lived in a filter-bubble for a long time. A newspaper is also a filter-bubble, you can read one side of a story in one particular writing style.

Our target audience was the market and this audience passes by everyday and see or read the same things, every day. A new publishing platform. We bought the Telegraaf newspapers in the morning, traveled to Amsterdam, en together with Henry we visualized headlines in his market sign way. Then, we distributed it on the market. Hereby we showed the audience their filter bubble.
